Chris Tamasi graduated with an English degree from Amherst College with a concentration in Poetry and Children’s Literature. As a Mellon Research Fellow and Frederick S. Lane Fellow for Creative Artists, Chris studied rare and archival children’s collections and was then inspired to produce his own works.
Chris grew up in Canton, MA and has since drawn from his experiences living in San Francisco, New York City, and Philadelphia. Borders comes from the author’s own attempts to make sense of this world—inspiring young readers to reimagine our world for the better.
Chris continues to write poetry and is a children’s literature enthusiast. He is excited to share his first published story, Borders.
